Reducing Files for
Emailing
Suppress the base feature, and do a "Save As".
When the file is subsequently opened, highlight
the base feature, and click "Edit/Unsuppress
with Dependents".
Copy Exploded Views
In assemblies you can copy an exploded view from
one configuration to another configuration.
First activate the configuration that has the
exploded view attached to it. Hit the + next to
the configuration name to show the exploded
view. Highlight the exploded view and "Drag and
Drop" into the new configuration. Activate the
configuration and the select the + next to the
configuration name to expand and see the copied
exploded view.
Creating Four Iso Views
This will create four new views (Front Right,
Rear Right, Rear Left, Front Left) that will
rotate in a clockwise direction. This can be
useful for exporting views to another CAD
package that requires "True ISO" views and to
make viewing easier.

Open the view orientation
box. |

Click on the pushpin to keep
it active. |

Double-click Isometric. |
 |
Select the New View
icon. |
 |
Name it ISO-Front Right. |
 |
Click OK. |
Next:
 |
Double-click Front. |
 |
Highlight Left. |
 |
Select the Update Standard
Views icon and press Yes. |
 |
Double-click Isometric. |
 |
Select the New View
icon. |
 |
Name it ISO-Right Rear. |
 |
Click OK. |
Then repeat the last seven steps
to create your ISO-Rear Left and
ISO-Front Left. Now Double-click Front,
highlight Left, select the Update
Standard Views icon and press Yes.
Be sure to save all of this in
your default part template.
